The FRITZ! journey as told by Nora, International Marketplace Marketing Manager

Nora, International Marketplace Marketing Manager

Breaking new ground.

Back in the day, I used to look over at the FRITZ! stand at CeBIT and think: I’d love to work for such a cool company. So I was all the more excited when I had the chance to join the sales marketing team in 2019, even without a traditional tech background. Seven years later, I moved over to the D2C – direct-to-consumer – division. I was particularly pleased to start working more internationally again.

Focused on international markets

It’s my job to make sure people find our products on online marketplaces. I ensure that product pages are informative and easy to understand, ads are placed effectively, and that we use our budget strategically. My work revolves a lot around examining different metrics and analysing which measures are effective. I find it fascinating how every country has its own unique characteristics, and not every product will perform the same way everywhere. I maintain regular contact with our partners and international sales colleagues in order to properly respond to these differences.

Working together to succeed together

It’s incredibly motivating to see how we can still make a big difference, and that I’m part of that. This goes hand in hand with how we work together as a team: We support each other, and combine our efforts to succeed. This really comes across in our day-to-day work – just as it does with the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere across the company. I can speak openly with managers, and we often joke around together. Humour is part of the job – not just the lunch breaks.
