The compact, splash-proof device offers Wi-Fi 6, Power over Ethernet (PoE+), and a robust IP54-certified housing for fast and reliable Wi-Fi in the garden, on the patio, the balcony, or also indoors. Equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and dual-band technology on 2.4 and 5 GHz, the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor achieves data rates of up to 3000 Mbit/s. When used in the Mesh with a FRITZ!Box, it seamlessly integrates into the home network and, with intelligent technology, ensures stable, fast connections even when many devices are active at the same time. Weatherproof design meets far-reaching Wi-Fi
The FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor has a robust, IP54-certified housing that protects it from splashing water and dust. The new housing design combines compactness with flexibility: Two router brackets included with delivery – white for outdoor use, red for indoor use – allow for easy and secure mounting in a variety of locations. The flat LAN cable included with delivery can be easily fed through many windows – ideal for quick installation outdoors.
Fast Wi-Fi 6 with up to 3000 Mbit/s
Thanks to dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2 x 2 MIMO) and a 160-MHz channel width, the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor achieves data rates of up to 3000 Mbit/s. When used in a Wi-Fi Mesh with a FRITZ!Box, it ensures seamless integration into the home network with smart extending and intelligent distribution of bandwidth to all connected devices. This guarantees stable Wi-Fi, even when many applications are running at the same time.
Power over Ethernet for flexible placement
Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE+), allowing for flexible installation of the extender in locations without an electrical socket. The PoE+ power adapter included in delivery also has an additional gigabit LAN port to integrate it into the home network or connect wired devices. At product launch, the extender functions as a LAN bridge outdoors, which requires a network connection to the FRITZ!Box (for example via LAN cable, powerline, or another extender).
