The FRITZ!Box 6825 4G is available starting today. The small FRITZ!Box for mobile networks offers stable internet with up to 300 Mbit/s via 4G/LTE and can be used anywhere in the world. Fast Wi-Fi 6 and a gigabit LAN socket make it easy to network additional devices when traveling, camping, or in holiday accommodation. Thanks to its small, compact design, it's simple to use the FRITZ!Box 6825 4G at home or on the go. This is the first FRITZ!Box supplied with power via USB-C, which means great flexibility for using not only suitable chargers, such as for smartphones, but also power banks with USB-C sockets at any location. The small FRITZ!Box for mobile networks also features FRITZ! Failsafe to protect against the failure of another FRITZ!Box for fiber optic, DSL or cable. The FRITZ!Box 6825 4G is a new addition to the FRITZ! mobile network portfolio: a compact, powerful alternative to the 5G models FRITZ!Box 6860 5G, 6850 5G and 6850 4G. In retail and on FRITZ.com the FRITZ!Box 6825 4G is available immediately for 129 euros (RRP 03/26).
Powerful 4G/LTE mobile network modem with broad frequency support
Since the FRITZ!Box 6825 4G provides mobile internet access at up to 300 Mbit/s and is backward compatible with other mobile network frequencies, it can be used everywhere in Europe. Through carrier aggregation – with up to two aggregated 4G frequencies (2CC) and countless combination options – the available bandwidth is used optimally. A practical alignment aid further supports the ideal positioning of the FRITZ!Box for best reception.
Fast, secure Wi-Fi 6 and gigabit LAN
With its handy format, the FRITZ!Box 6825 4G fits in any carry-on luggage or hiking rucksack to provide a fast, reliable 4G internet connection from on the go. It can be set up in tight spaces – on the windowsill, for instance – at home, at work, or in the office. The FRITZ!Box transmits with up to 600 Mbit/s in the 2.4-GHz band in accordance with the Wi-Fi 6 standard and offers secure encryption thanks to WPA3. It can be integrated in hotspots, for instance at campsites, in no time at all to make the internet available to all travellers via Wi-Fi or the gigabit LAN socket.
Versatile networking and security functions plus fallback protection
The FRITZ!Box undergoes continuous development and adds many new functions through updates to FRITZ!OS. This way it can be integrated seamlessly into existing Mesh networks to flexibly expand Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home. With scheduled switching the Wi-Fi network can be con-trolled as needed. At the same time, a secure guest access offers the option to share the internet connection without giving access to the home network. VPN connections via WireGuard and IPSec ensure secure communication. Comprehensive parental control features like time budgets, a youth protection filter and device blocks provide for safe, monitored internet use in the family. The small FRITZ!Box 6825 4G is also an excellent device for the FRITZ! Failsafe solution. Even if the main internet connection fails – be it fiber optic, cable or DSL – the FRITZ!Box 6825 4G takes over the connection as long as it is connected to the FRITZ!Box via WAN or LAN.
