As a tri-band adapter, the new WLAN Stick transmits on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz for fast, stable connections. Wi‑Fi 7 upgrade for PCs and notebooks: tri-band, 6 GHz and MLO
The FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 is designed to offer a fast Wi-Fi upgrade for notebooks and PCs, and is particularly impressive in combination with Wi‑Fi 7 routers and access points. At the same time, it is backwards compatible and can also be used with older wireless devices. If the router also supports the 6-GHz band, the stick can use this frequency band for more stable connections, especially in very busy Wi-Fi environments. As a tri-band Wi‑Fi 7 adapter, the FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 transmits with 2 x 2 MIMO on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, achieving up to 2.88 Gbit/s on the 5- and 6-GHz bands. Multi‑Link Operation (MLO) enables parallel connections over multiple Wi-Fi bands for more stability, lower latencies, and high data rates, e.g. for backups, NAS access or downloads.
Plug & Play
Setting up the FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 is as easy as can be. The stick can be connected at the touch of a button via WPS. The drivers are integrated into the stick, making it ready for operation as soon as it's plugged into a Windows PC or a notebook (Plug & Play). It supports Windows 11 and Windows 10, although Wi-Fi 7 is only possible with Windows 11.
Flexible connection: USB‑A, USB‑C and ideal positioning
The FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 is connected directly via a Type A USB connector. For maximum compatibility, an adapter for USB‑A to USB‑C is included so that the stick can also be used on devices with USB‑C ports. Also included in the package is a USB stand with a 0.9 m cable that enables free, ideal positioning of the stick for the best possible reception.
